Sunday Giveaway - Sorting Tray April 27 2014

Colour sorting is a bit too easy for Otis. He does it easily and quickly. Although he is still not 100% correct with the names of colours. Above are the little discs that come with the sorting tray. Please note because of their size these discs are not suitable for children under the age of three and even for a three year old I would only use them supervised.

There are lots of opportunities for sorting items around the house. These above are large buttons. For colour sorting we could also use coloured craft sticks, use paint chips to use for sorting different shades (graduations) of the same colour or use coloured pegs.

Also around the house, Otis sorts coins. This is good for him to look at the detail in each coin and begin number recognition.

And sorting dried beans, also good for language and naming each bean.

We have one sorting tray to give away. Please leave a comment below in this news entry to enter. This giveaway is open internationally. Please only one comment per family. Comments will close on Sunday 4th May at 11.59pm AEST. After comments close I will choose and notify the winner via email.

I haven't worked out to close the comments yet (hilarious considering I'm an experienced blogger!) however comments are now closed (Sunday 5th May 11.59pm). The Wooden Sorting Tray goes to… Rebecca (no surname left). Rebecca, I have your email and will get in contact with you!!

Please come back next Sunday for another giveaway.
